Well done the police

I cheered at every one of them on this well edited publicity video. I sincerely hope there is more to this than their marketing department just making a PR splash.

My motorbike insurance jumped 30% this year, with many insurers declining to offer a policy. Such is the pleasure of owning a nice bike in London these days. For a moment it was touch and go whether I would get cover. I've lived in the same place and kept nice bikes here for the last 24 years, all that has changed is the lack of policing.

If leaving Europe means more of these hardline decisions bring it on!

Police need to take back control of the streets and this is the way forward.

Also anyone not a British citizen should be immediately deported....as in dumped at the port and all future access to the UK for them and their families revoked period jurisdiction.

For this to happen we have to leave the European Court of Human rights.

Not sure how they're getting away with this. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for it, just what happens when they knock someone off and they end up with brain damage? Perhaps they're profesional stunt men (assuming gender) and this is all a PR stunt as said above ;)

tough sh1t I say, you act like scum then be prepared to be treated like scum, these low lives are terrorising people with knives, machetes, club hammers, I saw one clip where they approached a mother with her young child and threatened her for her purse, luckily some scaffolders were passing by and got chased off, enough is enough

Yeah they can cease existance for all I care but what I mean is, when this goes 'wrong', the lawyers will be circling and that will be the end of that.

hopefully by then a few would of been taken out of circulation, with regards to brain damage, you need one to start off with, already brain dead

I'm with the not so liberal majority on here, having been (like FC) a victim of a burglary/car theft in recent history these scumbags act with impunity, my youngest got almost mugged a few weeks back, he would have been except one of the gang recognised him and they put the knives away and left him alone, a week later the same gang got hold of two of his mates and had them change the password on their phones! before again recognising one of them! The police need greater numbers for sure and not just plastic police (CPSO's) and BTP but on the street bobbies. High profile action with real consequences like these against the moped gangs need to be seen as being effective and gradually the balance will be restored. As regards knife crime, I think the line has to be much harder than it is at present. BTP copper stabbed at Ilford station in the last 24 hrs!

They need to bring back stop and search , the problem previously was too many young black men were getting stopped so it fizzled out due to PC ******** , I'd bet my house the majority of deaths from stabbing are young black men but now they can carry knives with impunity because they're unlikely to get stopped
What annoys me is I can't buy a multitool with a locking blade now but I along with 99.9% of the Male public have never carried a knife in public in my life.
