What are the odds?

My Uncle buys a MG MGB new back in 1978, and then sells it in 1983 for a new Mark 1 VW Golf GTI.
This weekend my Uncle drives into a pub car park in North Yorkshire, and there parked in the corner was the car he sold 34 years ago that he had never see in all those years.
Turns out it belongs to the landlord, who throws him the keys and my Uncle and Auntie take it for a drive. How nice is that!
What is more surprising is that his MGB was one of the least desirable/loved models with the black rubber bumpers, so is even more surprising it had survived.

MGB GT is one of those cars that i still yearn to own at somepoint. I very nearly bought one around 1990 but ended up walking away from it for a more practicle family car at the time. I still regret not buying it.
