Back in the day I use to take the radio with me when going fishing and remember in 1981 Steve Wright saying “This is the new single from Stevie Nicks from a forthcoming solo album”

Really was...soundtrack aged way better than the movie!
Agree Den
I’ve seen about 2 films at the cinema in the last 40 years and LLV was one of them. It reaffirmed my view of modern day films thinking why should I pay to see some miserable dreary film.
Come Rain Or Come Shine by Don Henley was great rendition I thought. He did that on the Unplugged series as well, he also did a great unplugged version of Best Of My Love on there but with some Eagles/Don Henley songs Warner don’t allow them to appear on places like YouTube, the studio version of New York Minute is another one you can’t find on the internet.

The End of the Innocence was/is a brilliant album, in my opinion. Preferred much of Henley's (and Joe Walsh's) solo stuff to a lot of what The Eagles did as a band. Probably blasphemous, but here we are. Saw Henley on tour for that album in two different cities one summer...he played a twelve-string guitar for much of the night...

I did too Den at Wembley Arena in 1989 but you’ve got a better memory than me of the shows he was doing. Similar time I see Stevie Nicks there who I think had Richard Marx supporting her. Both shows I went with my much missed mate who succumbed to cancer at the young age of 48 in 2010
The Air Montserrat Rupert Neve console as seen in the The Police’s Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic video was sold to A&M studios in Hollywood and was used by Henley on the The End Of The Innocence album. Friends of mine have got it now in Toronto at Subterranean Sound Studios

That is SO COOL...! Love the history and love even more that the board is still in use!

Stumbled across Tracy Chapman & Luke Combs singing fast car at the grammys

I'd forgotten how good a songwriter she is, rediscovered her first album today

Such a song! Used to love the album as well

Right now: London Grammar: California soil

First albums great, Fast Car is a stand out track but not sure she replicated future stuff

Agreed

Prepared to be accused of blasphemy, but this is one song I hope to avoid the rest of my days. So, so, so overplayed...

Therefore, I shall attempt to make amends with this counterproposal:

I was actually streaming their early stuff on Thursday, and can't really argue. Well batted
