Been expecting a Waitrose Cellar delivery, but alas it’s not here yet. Will have to make do with Aperol Spritzers and a dusty old Pinot Noir tonight.View attachment 82904

Aperol...Yummy....

Pinot Noir, not so much.

Some rose prosecco from an Italian mob that managed to find my address somehow. It's actually rather yummy. Then some Cab Sav which is part of a case that HSBC decided to send me by way of apology, which was nice.
And if none of that pans out there's a mixed half case of Laithwaite's at 1/2 price just arrived. And a bottle of Absoluut in the freezer.

I may be some time :D

The Laithwaites depot is across the road from mine (they only have one in the UK) we are currently talking to them to do some work for them and they have said we can get 20% discount in their staff shop....Nice.

This Burgundy is pretty decent. Bottle number 11 of a case bought back in 2005. Other Pinots which I’ve enjoyed were from New Zealand and Austria of all places. I know what you mean though, there are lots of insipid ones out there.
