Actually my sales brochure says you can personalise the colour of the lower door cards and dashboard, it doesn't say from synthetic to leather, neither does the price list, just extra cost to personalise the colour.
Anyway, presently sat in my car, which is rather nice and comfortable I must say, and the conclusion in my case is as follows:
Seat facings only, front and back are leather, together with the headrest side and back, rest synthetic leather.
The top facing of the rear arm rest leather when folded down only, rest synthetic.
Middle door trim, the bit with the side airbag is leather, top of door trim surrounding door lock is synthetic.
The grab handle running back to the red door warning light is all leather, lower panel with speaker is synthetic.
Middle dash, with air vents, clock, surrounding info centre is leather, the lower dash, glovebox, centre console, armrest, all synthetic.
Handbrake gaitor is leather.
Top dashboard and steering wheel synthetic leather, including a, b and c pillars, rear shelf.
It's actually easy to tell, the real stuff has a random pattern and creases when pushed, the synthetic has a uniform pattern and does not crease.
So actually the bits with most impact are leather, the seat facing, and the interesting bit of the middle dash board, the door trim with the feature stitching.
The bits that are not cause the most problem if they were leather, so a bonus really that they are synthetic, like the dashboard top and top of the door trim.
I think they did a nice job overall!
Cheers,
Mike
