Whats the multi-story story?

Hi,

Why does my QP have an aversion to multi-story car parks?

It seems to have a nervous breakdown, fans coming on, erratic revs and the clutch smelling from dealing with low speed assents of the ramps!

Because using a Maserati in a muilt-story car park is like keeping a lion in a 4x4 cage! They need space and open ground to roam in:wink:

Very true. My brother and I once drove our respective families, in both our cars, to a shopping centre. It was one of those annoying '60s multi-storys where you have to crawl up and down dozens of narrow steep ramps in the torturous one-way system.

When we safely delivered our women and quickly decided there was nothing in the shopping centre of interest to either of us, we decided we would escape and go for a drive.

Obviously for just the two of us we only needed one car. I thought about the effort of parking the QP again and said "let's take your Skoda".

There are times when Skodas are better than Maseratis.

I was told by the dealer in Paris, it was the main reason they went through clutches in the Paris urban area, all those daily entries and exits of same......half on half off throttle....shortens life dramatically
