Wheel Centre Caps

Hello. I'm having my wheels refurbished next week, and thinking I may treat them to spanking new centre caps. Whilst not OEM for a 3200 I am minded to go for the centre caps with the red Trident, as per the below pic. Does anyone happen to know the Maserati / Eurospares part number is for this item? Many thanks.

Great, thanks. That makes 2 of us! My wheels are going to be resprayed with a chrome effect and I hope that the new centre caps will blend in nicely. The wheel refurb is being carried out by a company in Nothampton next week. Will post pics if any good.

Who's doing them? Are you based there? I've got family there and am often around those parts in the GS so keep your eyes peeled :)

Actually, looking at the Eurospares site, make sure you get the right colour - I think mercury, chromate and "not gray or chromate" are available.

Hi Sacha, Are you using the Nottingham branch of The Wheel Specialists? I've used them several times myself and they've always been great. Hope you're pleased with the results.

Hi Guys. The wheels are being done by the Wheel Clinic...first time user, fingers crossed.

Woody - am spltting my time between Hillingdon and Wellingborough these days...saw a Maserati travelling southbound on the M1 earlier today, around Luton area...private number plate...looked great in my rear view mirror but when it overtook me I saw those Honda rear lights and felt slightly disappointed. (reason I was overtaken is that I was driving a 1971 VW Karmann Ghia, and not my Maser!!).

Awesome motor car Sacha. I've always loved them, along with the Volvo P1800 which seemed to ingrain itself in my psyche around the same time. I went for the Beetle instead and spent many a happy mile driving it. Very nearly bought another recently, but (God help me) I'm going for an X1/9 instead. :D Cheap fun.

That's a crying shame to see such a lovely motor car meet that end Loz. If I were buying for a restoration project, then that would probably be top of the list, but I'm after a cheap runner with scope for modifying. Think I've made my mind up on the X. Another car I never got out of my system.

Isn't that the one Simon Templar "The Saint" used to drive?? It's in a bit of a mess, but cheap it could be a good project.

I've always hankered after an X-19 as well. A few years ago a friend moved into a farmhouse in Suffolk, and in the barn were 2 X-19's, both complete but in need of resto. I very nearly managed to acquire them until the real owner came forward and reclaimed possession. They would have made a fantastic project. I love my Karmann Ghia though. It sat in a barn for a year until last week. It started up first time, then passed an MOT test a couple of days later Sturdy little thing!!
