Does anyone know whether prices for these pattern parts (RH + LH lower wishbones) have been constant at gbp 495 incl VAT over the past 12 - 18 months?
Maybe not....That's a reasonable question as I noticed the upper arms were listed at nearly twice the price as was cited in a recent thread..(@ £1200 a piece !!) and seemed to cite both previous and current pricing...
I think they may have been seriously jacked up but couldnt find the thread to confirm it - if thats why you're asking !!?

I assume you are talking about the front ones? If so then they were a little lower when they first went on sale, £395 as I recall. I don't monitor it regularly but I suspect they have been this price for a while now.
That was it- but since realized I was looking at RRP. Bit confusing for me initially, as ES list 3 prices....
My somewhat limited grasp at this time suggests it depends entirely what you mean when you say “ gone”...I also need the front lower now. As I understood, the left and right will physically look different if I go with pattern. Assuming as right is gone, soon the left will be gone, too and maybe its best to replace both? Opinions?

If it’s the ball joint chances are both sides will be similarly worn I would think. Anybody know if this is a simple DIY job to fit?
Also, would you definitely need to do a wheel alignment after fitting?
On the face of it, it is quite a simple job. Remove the shock bolt, unbolt the ball joint, take out the two subframe bolts, reassembly is the reverse of removal. In reality The ball joint needs a large splitter as the hub is alloy so you can't use a pickle fork or the like. The subframe bolts might be seized in the bush which would require the cutting of the bolt (one of mine was like this). So it can go south pretty quickly.
Yes, full alignment is needed afterwards.
I had to take the brake duct off to
get to the pivot bolts and their fixings were rusty piles of crud.
