Hello to everyone thought I would introduce myself, I've Just bought a 2010 red Maserati granturismo s mc shift and absolutely love it!!!! Should have done it sooner but talked myself out of it for more sensible options! But wow what an amazing car, sport off and it's a great quiet cruiser but hit that sport button, turn off auto floor it and unleash a full on fire breathing supercar that turns heads and gets smiles like no other car I have owned!!!!! I want to change the headlights to the new stradale ones and it would be good to know of anyone who has done this also would like to get some alcantara done on the inside, steering wheel clocks pod etc..... All advice appreciated

Welcome.

One member has recently tinted his lights...far less than the £1000 it will cost for new lights.

Welcome, hotwheels. Good choice. Where are you based? Light tint took minutes. I wouldn't bother changing to new lights:

If you want interior tweaks there are a few places that can sort you out, depending where you are.

Nice one! I think tinting is the way to go. I also heard from an Indy that changing the lights is actually a much more expensive job (a few grand apparently) and due to different wiring it won't connect properly so the day lights won't work and it also messes with your parking sensors somehow if I recall correctly.

Lovely car you have there and a great colour too. Was the previous owner a chap that lived in Hopton, Suffolk? Just asking because it's a local (ish) reg number and there's a guy in Hopton who had that exact model/ colour combo until Jan this year when he bought a new Ghibli. It had a cherished number when he had it.

I was only changing lights as they are stone chipped but tinting sounds interesting and it may help to cover up, who did it for you or where do I buy the kit? I'm in Surrey and I think the previous owner had it from new except for the last 6 months that someone else had it, so may be the Suffolk car?

Could well be then. I know he bought his from Lancaster in Colchester from what he was saying when I was chatting to him a few weeks back.

Dub Customs in Basildon, Essex, did it. They just sort of did it at the same time as they were applying a rather fetching stripe. It didn't cost any more than if they hadn't done it, if you see what I mean. It took them maybe ten minutes. Twenty at a push.

My in laws live near Basildon I will pop it over to them next time I'm visiting thanks for that, also does the x-pipe make a difference? This is the car from Romans I have a friend who works there who gave me the nod as I've always fancied a granturismo but wanted it in red if poss as I love the colour combo, I'm on holiday at the moment and can't wait to get back for a blast!!!!
