for those of you who are thinking of taking your maserati to williams automobiles in chipping sodbury, think again, i took my 4200 there with a clutch problem nearly 2 months ago, its still there, first they replaced parts on a trial and error basis then completely forgot that they actually had the car there, i'm arranging to take it somewhere else, i'm not impressed with them, i think they need to stick with morgans and leave maserati's to the experts.

Can you fill us in on their background.

I have not heard of them before so am I right in thinking they are not a Maserati indie?

If so, what made you think it was a good idea to use them?

Who are you taking the car to next?

I posted a link up for them a few months back......I used them when they were Lotus Dealers in Bristol...They were also Morgan and TVR dealers...They are still Morgan dealers............I had nothing but praise for them when I used them back then.........The owner spoke to me around March time to tell me they were branching out into servicing Maserati and they had a Maserati tech working on the marque who has years of experience off Maserati................I bought 5 new Lotus off them over the years and used them as service dealers and as I said I had no reason to complain.....Really sorry to hear about your experience.....I hope its a one off....but sounds like they may not have the experience in the marque. Hope as I said its a one off.......

What have they said to you...?......

Are we not confusing the Williams main dealer in Bristol who sell Lotus with this used car dealer in C/S?

No Peter, Williams main dealer sold out around a year or so ago....There is no longer a Lotus dealer in Bristol...The site sells Mazda's or something like that now.....Williams moved out and moved into the country to continue selling Morgans and specialist cars.......Henry Williams spoke to me a number of months ago to let me know what they were doing......

Williams Automobiles saga continues

Thanks everyone for your comments, yes it's correct that Williams Automobiles, who specialise in Morgan have now taken on a Maserati/Ferrari mechanic to extend the diversity in their workshop, the story so far with my 4200 is that I am now in dispute over the amount of their invoice, they have charged me for unauthorised work and items which I quite specifically did not want done, also no apology from them after wasting nearly two months of my time, I believe the clutch problem on my Maserari is just too big a job for them and beyond their capability and expertise, another worrying development is that I have been advised that the front grille is damaged, but I do not recall any damage prior to delivering it to their garage, I am aranging to have the car transported to Migliore Maserati specialists in Bromsgrove, I wish I had taken it to them in the first place, will keep you posted to how it all works out.
