Really had to strain my eyes to see it! Can you get front cameras as well?

I got used to the sensors. When they go red I know I still have 5" left.

I talked to them about front cameras. They are certainly available

The camera is just a camera - the number of available video inputs would determine usage. Without a switch that is. Not sure how that would work with the reverse feature connected. Some aftermarket head units have dual camera video-ins and the reverse line connection - probably when the reverse signal is detected it switches regardless of choice. Could always not connect that line and select front or back manually. With the GTs I'd imagine a corner view enabled camera could be quite handy at the front - at tight junctions given the acreage between nose and driver.

I believe there is an Alpine switching unit where you can mount a little button switch under the steering column typically and a push of that will put on the front camera. I considered asking about it but (a) more ££ and (b) the button part put me off as more noticeably non-OEM. This rear camera is as if it was factory.

For a front camera to be useful apparently it really needs to be a 180 degree fisheye by the way

Sounds like I should be asking for commission. If any forum members do get them done after seeing this please let me know as I'll hit them up for a discount on a dash cam or something...

When it comes available I'm going to put in the new Garmin 45 dash cam - has a front collision avoidance feature and a lane drift warning.

And thinking I might see about putting one of these in the glovebox https://www.johnlewis.com/pure-high...d-audio-adapter-with-bluetooth-black/p3067340 (as I leave the radio on Radio 1 only anyway, I don't need to be able to change it).

Once both of those are done the electronics will be pretty much bang up to date.

That is a very neat job and virtually undetectable - very impressive. I notice you have your chrome boot handle in black too - is that a piece of vinyl wrap?

Really nice matt well done! I would love one of those on mine. I still park it like a cretin even though it's smallish.
Paranoid about bumping things.
Have they ever done stereo exchanges in Maserati's or Ferraris? And is it possible whilst keeping the important features do you think?

I've asked about head units previously - there are some things you lose. Trip computer maybe - more importantly ability to set the time on the dash. That's why I decided phone mount for sat nav, this rear camera option and a Bluetooth dongle into aux (for now) was the better route

Didn't realise the boot on others had chrome trim! Think mine had some sort of "black pack" optioned.

As far as I can tell, the boot handle in black was never offered as a factory option. It must have been done by a former keeper

Anyone actually had fronts fitted like this video as this is where I'm struggling. My beepers are going off and I'm 1M from the front kerb hahahahaha! A video feed to front plate would be awesome...

I've got the "black pack" option but the boot still has the chrome - I may look at wrapping

It has been suggested to me to use a 3M 1080 product and of course it is reversible if you won't wish to keep it
