ha, does that count as a spotted even though I wasn't there?

Yep, annual service and the found one of the front springs has snapped the end off so pair of new ones put on. It shouldnt get too dirty on the trip home, I only live over the hill from McGraths. What were you having done?

Nice car but I just don't like the cream dash top.
Aye, contemplate getting it changed. Tis a pain driving the tree lined avenues....or on motorways at night!

Haven't brought myself to do it yet as I'm a bit "it should be kept original..." but may do it one day. If I can find a replacement, I'll do it as its very reversable.

The same. An annual service of my QP. Plus, a check on the front suspension sub assembly as it was mentioned in that dedicated thread, I thought it prudent. New rear pads and an MOT.

Whenever I'm up there, McGraths is full of wonderful machinery. They're really good people too.

Phil at PK Supercars has had his Nettuno 4200 dash covered in MCV style navy alcantara. Looks amazing and was quite cheap. You can get any colour and perhaps even cream alcantra as that would not reflect and look stock mainly.

Nice car by the way.

Yeah, they do, its like a top shop! Highlight for me was a (I think) a black A6 GCS which was there during their open day. Look so good, I could have licked it! LOL!

Yeah, I like them too. Before I bought my GS, I wanted it to go there....luckily, they're local.

haha...cheers Dem. Clicked up a few miles since then :)

Yeh, in about 2011 Maserati stopped offering the light colours for the top dash due to reflection isssues.
Makes sense, could imagine it'd be a pain in a sunny country.

Thanks :)

Will take a look in eBay per Benny's suggestion. I do look from time to time. I think an alcantara top in beige would be just as bad though - its the reflection on the screen rather than reflection on the dash.

I find the worst is going into a dark multi-storey car park on a sunny day. At the point where the dash is still in the sun there is so much reflection on the screen and the car park is so dark you are pointing the nose of the car into the entranceway in complete blindness, it's almost like you've closed your eyes. All you can do is aim for the middle, go slowly and hope you don't hear a crunch.

It's a shame because the light dash, and matching door cards, look great on the QP.

That dash is over priced, new from the factory they were £200 new last time I looked.

Overpriced used spares really get my goat up!

Eurospares are showing £280 and I know Alan at DL would beat that price by a good £50

This breaker has stated on here previously he puts a phone number on the eBay ads so you can phone and negotiate (I rattled his cage somewhat). So phone him and make a sensible offer Woody....

If your not fussed about keeping the old one Woody, a local trimmer would do the job for £100 cash, its dead easy and only black vinyl.
