Sold my Dad's 1999 Volvo s80 last weekend in 3 hours, from advert to cash in hand. Got to be a record. It was only a grand though.

Bought him a newer s80 which was £3750 for a 2006 (55) d5 lux nav with one owner, full Volvo history and 65k miles. Massive amount of barge for the cash.

My record, is having the car sold before I'd even paid for it.........ie someone heard I was buying it and offered me more.......

I put my name on the waiting list for a BMW Z4 when they came out and was first on the list at my local BMW dealer....CAr was delivered to the dealer but I never good to drive it as someone bought it for 2k more than I paid for her.

MY M3 CSL I paid 26k for and sold it just over a year later for 27k

Just sold my M3...Paid £5600 for her 2 years ago and just sold for £7900

Now all the rest I have lost money on.......
