Surprised, the beautiful game is not liked by the nice people in here. The only bad part is the rampant corruption by FIFA scumbag Sepp Blatter.

Equally surprised that apparently intelligent human beings *do* like it. There is so much that is wrong, or at the very least pointless about it, I can't be bothered. But the very fact that even an enthusiast describes the man who runs the entire show as being rampantly corrupt and a scumbag pretty much sums it up :)

I'm not going to get into a heated debate about the in's and out's of Politics and corruption in Football let alone sport but the way I see it is that if it entertains and brings joy to someone in the same way as you getting in your car and driving it does for yourself then there is no harm in it right?

Plus I am a big fan/enthusiast/OCD'er about Panini sticker albums. Have all of them going back to 74 complete. Collection worth a nice amount and the kids love collecting and swapping them too :) Sad I know

Each to their own Phil - have no objection to other people liking football, it's just not for me.

Someone once asked me what the point of motor racing was, as they 'just go round and round'... But I like it.

I love football. Always have. My support for the famous Glasgow Rangers has died down since I got married about 10 years ago and now I find myself watching Spanish, Italian and German games as well as the Premiership. I seem to have developed soft spots for teams in each league. I have no idea why, there is no obvious connection.

Anyway, I didn't watch the opening ceremony because the World Cup is about football, nothing else.

The game was good, Croatia are the new Scotland. Played well, looked the better team in parts but were beaten by a referee who was clearly on the FiFa payroll. A glorious defeat, the Croatian's can be proud.

I also like cars. A lot. In fact, i'm thinking of adding a BMW 840ci sport to my fleet in the next few weeks. They are so cheap and I've always loved the design. A good one can be had for £7k !! Even the 4.4 v8 later cars without the nikasil issues.... oh help.......my name is Outrun and i'm a car-a-holic...

I watched but could not figure out what was going on, the best bits were the female singers in tight cat suits coming out of the central ball. The rest was a mish mash of just stuff going on, no message as such and not that interesting, sound was awful..!!

It's not all Panini albums in general it is the Panini World Cup albums from 1970 -2014. All I need is 1970 (goes for £1500- £2000 for a good mint one) to complete the collection. Looks like this.

I have always liked the 8 series...Remember when Clarksone drove one on Top Gear..I taped it and played it over and over again......I'm looking for a 645 at the moment and the weird thing is you can get a good one for 7 to 8k the same as an 8 series....

Strange, but when of a certain age, it all comes down to how they've been kept and how they now drive........either costs a small fortune to fix I suppose!!!!
