Sharing is caring. Clearly no one gives a sh!t
Thats what I said. As I am still alive, it’s clear they didn’t reveal the source. This was about 5 years ago.

Yes shorter wheelbase so shorter cables. Not for spyder. I assume that's because the spyder's shorter?
Hope it pans out well.I'm going to see a car this weekend. Are there any issues in particular I should look out for?
If the car is straight I'll have an independent inspection done. I just want to check the 'obvious' things before I spend money on a professional.
Thanks.
Easy for you to say! And it went faster than if it was without cables so the name is correct.Hope it pans out well.
Regarding the cables, I had some made about 15 years ago for my old Venturi, by a company called Speedy Cables in Ystradgynlais near Swansea.
Not silly money as far as I can remember. Despite their company name, it didn’t make it go any faster.

You forgot failed or failing roof, slack bands and micro switches.Leaking cam gaskets
Aircon compressor bearing noisy
Rust under rear lights and rear arches
Clutch wear
If you can check wheel bearings and control arms for any wobble
Sticky or worn out switch gear
Noisy tappets or variaitors - car needs to be completely cold and not started recently
Any play in the gear linkage if manual
