Fitted x pipe from bennyd yesterday
absolutely awesome got the fessa rasp and high pitch and a lot louder this is with the larinni rear boxes

I should have done this 5 years ago

I've just got the unvalved larini rear boxes.
So adding the X pipe increases the idle noise?
I don't think an increased idle noise would go down too well, wish I had valved rear boxes.

Yes Mike an X-pipe would increase the noise at idle and it would make a noticeable difference under acceleration as well.

It's not that noticeable on mine, if at all, but when you put your foot down it rips!

Huge transformation now with x pipe and existing larinni boxes
But I will have to connect the valved boxes up now as the sound will be a bit ott in the wrong places
Idle I would say is twice as lound and on acceleration pitch and volume is incredible
on overrun it really cracks firework style

So glad you like your new system. I find the extra sound always adds a little something to the driving experience, and I'm sure you will agree! ;)

get down some narrow streets and floor it and then off the gas, lovely! Looking forward to some tunnels on the way down...

x-pipes are the dog's danglies. Ben persuaded me to get one, too. This is the result:
