Really....rather have a dark one with cream and black interior and £30/35 left in the bank.

The facelift spoils the purity of the original QP5 for me, Andy. The QP6 is big but to my eye it's quite in proportion, like the Ghibli. The V6 twin turbo petrol is a surprisingly quick car; I'd love to drive the V8 GTS - Maserati's second fastest production car ever after the MC12!

I had a look at this at Meridien on Saturday. In reality the red is quite a brown, possibly toffee-apple, red. So the orange indicator lights and the yellow calipers clash with it. The wheel colour doesn't go well either. It's certainly not a cohesive colourway to my eyes. It looks far better in these pictures than it did the flesh, that's for sure.

Interesting that you say bloated though Mark as the only real change was the front grille/ lights and the rear lights with a slight change to the boot so don't think it is any bigger or wider.

I am not a fan of the S grille but in GTS form it is the perfect QP for me....very colour sensitive though. For me this is the one...maybe too black for some but love how the GTS looks elegant and mean at the same time.

If I showed that my MRs she would say it is "pimp" and way too tacky. Each to their own I guess.
