They're surprisingly good because a lot of them are cowboys who'll put a 2t car on a 3.5t truck or tow without a tachograph hoping they can blag the copper it's not a businessI've used Shiply a few times, with no hassles. Especially if you are flexible with timescales, prices can be surprisingly good .
This I had the AA recover my Spider from Silverstone to Poole, they even now have covered trucks for premium cars.Do you not have recovery cover as part of your insurance?
Is that a comment on Maserati reliability?Another recommendation for Dan. Lost count of the number of times transported from here (Gloucestershire) to Sportsitalia
The two blokes Dick Lovett sent to pick up a Porsche Spyder from my brother he’d sold to Lovett.because a lot of them are cowboys
Nay, lad. She was undergoing a series of upgrades , preventative work (variators etc), and refurbishment. All anticipatedIs that a comment on Maserati reliability?
i beg to differ, the company that brought my alfa Junior over from Italy to UK was found through Shiply, yes you do get probably some cowboys but if you sift through and use some due diligence there are good professional outfits that quote through Shiply. I was very impressed with them and the price was very competitive compared to some ridiculous prices i was getting when ringing transporters direct. They're surprisingly good because a lot of them are cowboys who'll put a 2t car on a 3.5t truck or tow without a tachograph hoping they can blag the copper it's not a business
It's also like a reverse auction if you're trying to find work u till somebody does it for a mars bar
This is the kind of thing I'm talking aboutThe two blokes Dick Lovett sent to pick up a Porsche Spyder from my brother he’d sold to Lovett.
that should be on a 3.5t trailer or a 7.5t transporterThis is the kind of thing I'm talking about
There's no way a modern 3.5t car transporter can carry anything more than a 1300kg car and be legal
Jag XF weight is around 1800kg so this one must have bricks in the boot

Both need tachographs, one an operators licence as wellthat should be on a 3.5t trailer or a 7.5t transporter
That’s the sort of thing Dick Lovett sent 200 miles to pick up my brother’s Porsche Spyder which he had sold them and hadn’t been weighed in at that point. Couple of Polish guys, went to load it on the transporter and it scraped all the underside. My brother got on the phone to Lovett’s and said they’re not taking that car, send a decent car transport vehicle which they did. This is the kind of thing I'm talking about
They had a picture of some numbnuts with a taycan on a 3.5t truck a couple of weeks ago
