Another month is not that bad..!!
We all know how wonderful you are Mr MAF, but it does not hurt to tell you again... We think you are a real valuable member of our community and we could not do without you..!! You're invaluable wit and sarcasm are refreshing to say the least and your humour is out there on top with the best..!! You can't drink a lot, could look better, possibly drive like you meant it some times and stop throwing Bibles out of your window, but we all still love the colour of your car, so we let you off..!! I'm sure Benny will be along to bolster your ego a bit more, very soon..!! Keep your chin up mate, your sex drive will come back..!!

:boss:

Robert, such wonderful, warming words. Please send me some of whatever you're smoking!

April is fine, gives me more time to save up for the clutch change as Emblem can do both jobs at the same time.

You know guys I don't know where I still stand in this as the thread is 65 pages long. I think I asked before but I guess I'm checking in to make sure. Hopefully I didn't miss the boat, but I'm not really sure so figured I would ask again.

Does anyone know how much shipping would be to the U.S. for rotors? In either case anyone that feels so inclined please PM me, that would great!

I could look at bringing them over, but I suspect it would kill even my allowance....

Latest update from the manufacturers - they're expected mid-April. They've apologised for the delay, but have had to create these from scratch, cast them, machine them, coat them and test them. It's a small run for them, so understandable. The good news is that the second batch will be significantly faster to arrive as all the hard work is now done.

Fantastic! I've not yet paid for these, do we wait until they are here or pay in advance??

Do I or don't I order a second set. Or now that they have done the ground work will it be easer to order a set as and when needed.

I'm also toying with buying a second set in the second batch. The freight may be way more than the product price in my instance.
Don't forget Steve, we are in a group buy from a manufacturer who presumably only supplies to car makers usually, so won't take single orders direct from us.
You would be waiting on another group buy production run at some point in the future.

So if I avarage say 5k miles a year. Some a little spirited. How long will I get out of a set. And as I've been told it's the fronts that go more than the back. Is it recommended I just order another set of front only or just may as well get another full set.

I'd be surprised if a set lasted less than 20k, but I drive like a girl (and I don't mean Blondie!)

I may be able to help out on all the disks going to Aus as one of my clients regularly ships containers out there with spare capacity, they would need to be declared though and any taxes paid, you guys would also need to arrange a single collection and internal distribution.

Hi there.
Just joined the Forum today. I see you are negotiating a group buy for Brake Discs, I would definitely like to put my name down for a full set.
Thanks,
Andy
