I like the grey/red combo on my M3 but not sure how it looks in the flesh on a GS.
The higher mileage will be difficult to move on later?
I think its fair to say that "easy" to move on isnt exactly their middle name. The GS seems to be dropping in price, the 4200 commands even less, as you noted...
I think a good GS stands a good chance of holding its money long term.
Nowhere near as good as a Porsche. If its a 996 that floats your boat, you could do worse than find a 40 jahre car. People spend small fortunes on old Porsches with hunderds of thousands of miles after all...
Of course its easier to sell a low miles car in pukka condition with full service history...but Id suggest that these arent the only decent cars worth a punt. A full PPI should help point you in the right direction...
In the end, the GS is great value, so why wouldnt you by the best car you can get your hands on....?
I nearly didnt even bother going to look at the car I ended up with. Red leather..jeez ! Not my thing. But then, the few grey cars over nero leather that I looked at and drove were just a tad undewhelming ( bit like 996 40 Jahre car tbh). Photos can be a be misleading, especially on a screen. It isnt a ferrari red...but bergundy. And if its half black, then the balance inside the cabin is spot on...IMO !
