Mine had two clutches in its first 40k miles (mostly with previous owners). The third clutch is currently reading 30% worn after 18k miles. These are not motorway miles either, I drive mostly London traffic or B-roads. I'm not sure why the clutch life seems to vary so much?

I'm very happy with Giallo Cars. Pleasant to deal with and very fair prices. Usually booked up a few weeks in advance but not months. They're based in Kent but offer pickup / drop-off from London addresses.

Did you drive any of them? It would be interesting to compare notes. I looked at all four for sale and thought that two of them were rubbish, but the other two were both quite tempting.

Matt told me he's seen the Eurospares part fail. Not a big enough sample to show that they're sub-standard, but enough for me to say sod it and pay a bit extra for the OEM part. The total price was really not too bad considering the huge amount of work involved so I'm happy.

Matt at Giallo has just repaired one of mine, and then sent all four wheels off the be trued. This wasn't the first repair by any means. Cost a few hundred. Replacements are about £1200 each. HR Owen in London claim to have some in stock!
