There is a design flaw with the 4.7 engine. There is no time variations. Mine is at repair and the part is sent to Italy to repair. I will update you with what the part is called. It is around £4000 pound fix. Another problem is the coolent header box. change those as mine is cracked and leaking.

I just got mine changed with Maserati and it solved the problem. It is a common problem with Quattroporte.
