Passenger side knocking noise when driving on road QP

Hi,
Just recently notice from passenger side front wheels knocking when encountering bad or roads with holes. This noise gets louder by the day and steering get wooly and all over the place. A sudden jolt will produce around 3 to 4 knocks. Any idea? Wheel bearing? Suspension bush? Suspension arm? How much you reckon to fix this.

Check simple things first...are all the wheel nuts tight?

If not that it is a simple task to jack the car up and hold onto the wheel and give it a good push and pull holding it at 12/6 and then 3/9 to see if it moves about. This would show if there was any slack in the suspension.

Finaly spin the wheel....it should rotate quietly with no rumble which would indicate bearings.

Good advice from Safrane. Check the springs also. I recall an instance where they had broken on a QP.
