    GranSport Rear Lights Problem

sorry not sure I understand? The problem was with broken wires within the loom that goes to the boot. Opening and closing the boot lid over time bends the wires until they break. Relays are fine.

    GranSport Rear Lights Problem

So yes it was intermittent and the fault came back. Got a recommendation of really good auto-electrician who came out and sorted it in no time at all. A few wires had broken within the rubber shroud that runs along the left boot hinge. He's run some news wires to fix it temporarily while...

best part of 200 miles over the weekend, not a single problem - looks like the wiggling of wires and praying has sorted it out

Thanks for the quick reply Update - just tried it again to make sure the brake lights were at least working OK for tomorrow's run out, and guess what....and all worked perfectly, no bulbs out, no warning lights no nothing. So it could be intermittent, in which case electronic I guess...

    GranSport Rear Lights Problem

Hi, My dashboard light bulb failure warning came on so have just spent a pretty frustrating 2 hours on my knees (bulbs, fuses & relays - not praying). Anyway, both rear tail lights seem to have stopped working, and from what I can tell, the rear fogs too. Brake lights, registration...

    Missing badge

I think the Hankook advert had the trident missing too? Always thought the GT would benefit from a chrome, diagonal mesh grill rather than the plastic slats.

    Ball Polished Alloy Refurb

I posted a query a while back for advice on getting my wheels refurbished. The original finish was 'ball polished', so a clear lacquer over highly processed and polished alloy. For the refurb we decided to avoid this as just not robust enough for every day use, so we went for a special...

    Possible clutch failure

I'd say so yes, mine went very quickly after this - would not find reverse or 1st and 3-4 seconds for changes once moving. Clutch had life in it, but the fingers that control the plates were worn/damaged so the whole unit had to be replaced.

3200 Quiksilver exhaust boxes - good price?

I put Quicksilver rear boxes on my 3200GT shortly after I bought it in 2004. The mild steel OEMs rotted away and Maserati wanted £1300 for replacements, so I looked around - only really Tubi & Quicksilver options. The Tubi's were about £1200 and I paid about £720 at the time for the...
