14yr (7th) Service Advice

My 2009 Granturismo is due its 7th/14yr service. In the schedule there is an R under lambda sensor for the 7th or 14 year service. But it also says change every 4 years.

I spoke to a main dealer who said they should be changed every 4 years, which would therefore be the 12yr and 16yr service, not the 14yr. Is this right?

They might have been changed after 4 years to keep the warranty going. Otherwise no one ever changes them until they start throwing codes or maybe every 8 years or more...

I think you need to replace the lug nuts every thirty years or 1,000,000 km also

I’m going to be stung by lamda replacement in a couple of months. Cars under Maserati warranty for the next 18 months, so to keep it live I’ll need to do lamda and carbon canister aparently, neither of which are required….. will keep the old lamdas.
