A few of us know the car Nick , seen it at a few shows and what a car , certainly an appreciating asset but worth a jolly good haggle price wise , perhaps a good investment to offset any depreciation on the GTS

£60,000 seems like a lot of dosh minus the engine unless I am reading the add wrongly. Remember the car will never be considered a true collectors car without matching numbers no matter how pretty it may look. What happened to the engine????? Personally, I prefer the spyder above and a better colour more suited to the car.

The spyder is probably twice the price (at least). I'd say a good Sebring, sorted and all, should be about GBP40k, not more. I was given a lift in a very similar car to the one in the photo and it rocked, was instantly hooked!

Big Foot I would have thought the engine would be included. It begs the question what happened to the engine??????

The ad doesn't say anything about a missing engine ...

Ooooooooooops I think I am having a senior moment. I was reading the add below it........back to the Sunshine Home for me

Maserati Mistral Project

I have a Maserati Mistral project I wish to sell. I believe it is one of only 7 right-hand drive 4-litre versions built. The car has been stripped and body/chassis restoration commenced, however the project has been dormant in dry storage for several years. The car is complete less engine and currently in Jersey.

:love4: 1963 3500GT Vignale Spyder

As this is just around the corner from me, I went and had a sit in her today...
Absolutely Fantastic!!
She was restored by the Maserati factory 15 years ago, and is still in excellent condition,
Anybody like to hazard a guess at how much she is up for sale at?

At a rough guess i would say £119.999.99 but i guess an offer in the region of £105 to £110 might wheel it off the forecourt
