Many thanks Guys. It really has been a joy; made only better by the opportunities I've had along the way to meet many of you. It really does make a difference I think. Such a shame we're being denied the opportunity to meet with our fellow owners on MF should they have wished to join us for the Christmas meet.

Now on to the next 2K. :gamer:

it is a shame we dont meet with MF but owners dont want it so just have to be us.....we shown we the bigger people and they will see that in the future we tried

Dem , its not the owners that dont want to meet at xmas , a lot of MF members dont know its happening , Miles intentions were 100% honourable when he offered the hand of friendship at a time when the other ship is rudderless , but has been prevented from enlightening other owners to share their passion with other like minded geeks hehe eh i mean anoraks

When the post was removed I got the usual PM quoting 'forum rules' so straight away I responded asking for the post to be re-instated, hoping that my request, albeit retrospective, would be deemed to satisfy the rule book. In spite of logging in several times since, no response from Admin. Now I know how the Chinese feel - getting information filtered by a faceless beaurocracy.

Basically that Matt. On the one hand I'm kicking myself as my only motive was TO GIVE THE OWNERS OF MASERATI THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET WITH EACH OTHER. In order to do that I should have respected the rules over the road whether I agree with them or not.

On the other hand at least it was up there for a couple of hours as I suspect permission would have been denied anyway.

YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW ANGRY I AM ABOUT THIS. I HOPE TO MEET THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE ONE DAY. I'LL HAPPILY EXPEND ALL EFFORT NECESSARY IN SHOWING HIM THE VALUE OF COMMON SENSE AND THE JOY THAT COMES FROM HAVING THOSE OVER WHOM YOU HAVE STEWARDSHIP GUIDING YOU TO A SHARED GOAL.

Oh, and if you're reading this Brian (which I suspect you will as you seem to spend more time here than you do over the road) YOU ARE A SAD, MANIPULATIVE, XENOPHOBE. If I ran my business like that I wouldn't be driving a Maserati....... Speaking of which...

Sympathies Miles, makes you wonder where Brians motives really lie, a) in the persuit of enhancing the lives of fellow Maseratitsti or b) more interested in protecting an ever decreasing MF membership, he's so short sighted , then we know that really , but he should realize that he would of gained far more respect by allowing the post to continue , thus enhancing the lives of his own members whilst not having to lift a finger himself, would of created far more interforum traffic and its a xmas do for god sake good will to all and all that , no its far easier to ping off another email stating the ramblings of ho chi min

My own early concerns re MF have become more and more evident over time , the worst being his anonominity (if thats spelled right ) its exactly where this forum scores mega points , we know the people , they have a face a voice and a heart , we know their intentions are genune and not commercialy orientated , cant say ive ever had felt that, of Birdcage even after 129 exchanges of emails ,every single one started with the obligatory ( how are you sir hope you are well) makes me feel ive been side swiped with the Tony Blair grin , like he ever cared

A country pub and a slow pint is in order Miles lets meet and comiserate together hehe
