Just thought I would share my experiences here as I couldn't find a definitive answer when I was looking.

I have just purchased a 2007 GT with Bose and wanted a bluetooth kit for my iPhone to connect calls (obviously) and stream my music.

I phoned around and read as many links as I could find on the Forums, but got two answers, yes you can connect a Bluetooth system through the audio system and no you can't!

The answer turned out to be no you can't! The system in my car has a digital amp with no aux in and no line in for a connection, because the amp has a "Centrepoint" control mic in the car to automatically balance the outputs to each speaker it isn't possible to just cut into the speaker leads either.

The only solution for me was to have a speaker fitted under the dash for the phone connection, but audio streaming through the BT is impossible using a phone kit.

Apparently in 2008 the system was upgraded and has a line in and Aux input allowing full connection of a bluetooth phone kit.

There may be a solution to the audio streaming issue however! I am currently researching an integrated DAB radio system, there are a number of systems on the market, which either connect to the audio system via the aux in or as I don't have that option, by connecting directly or wirelessly to the FM receiver of the radio, most of these have the benefit of line or aux for connecting an iPod etc... I realise the quality isn't going to be perfect but at least I'll be able to listen to music of my choice without having to load individual CDs onto the hard disk jukebox!

I have a 2008. Where is the aux in jack situated then?
I also have an auxiliary system which tunes into the FM (107.7) allowing me to plug my Ipod in and listen to its music instead of what's on the radio/CD. Seems rather old fashioned though.

You may have a 2008 car that pre-dates the change, its always difficult to be precise when the change took place as some dealers may of had stock that wasn't registered until 2008? I'm just looking for a new bike and I was told by the dealer at the weekend the 2014 colours have been discontinued and the 2015 colours are now available...bizzare!

If you have an aux in it will be in the glovebox, if not a nice shiny plate instead!

I agree connecting to the FM input through a modulator is a bit old fashioned, but it was the only work round I could find.
