Hi All,

I'm thinking about selling one of my cars either my QPV or my Verde Mexico 3200GTA. One of them has to go to further my plan to buy something else exotic. Here is the details of the QP:-

2009 09 Quattroporte 4.2 V8

Blu Oceano
Avorio leather interior
Blue piping
Blue carpets
Bose
Skyhook
Electric Seats
Rear Blind
V-Style 19" wheels

54,000 miles with one previous owner. In the last six months the car has had over £7,000 spent on it to include the following:-

New Air Con Compressor
New Camcover Gaskets
New brake discs and pads all round
X Pipe
Full service
Front subframe replaced, rear subframe refurbished and all ancillaries connected to the subframes either replaced or rust treated.
Full underside rust treated (All the rust prevention comes with 16 page PDF detailing all the work and comes with 10 year warranty.)
Fully shimmed wheel allignment
Wheels refurbished
Matching Mitchelin PS3s all round
New track rod end

Theres a slight blow from the exhaust where the X pipe connects and i have a parking sensor out at the back. These will be fixed before the sale.

Full Maserati and Specialist service history. Last serviced in December. The air con pump, brakes and X pipe were done at Autosheild in February. The car has covered less than a 1000 miles in that time.

I'm the second owner. The car had an interesting first owner.

I think £13700 or near offfer is a bit of a steal for this car especially with the subframe work and the other usual suspects above all being done.

Its not advertised anywhere as yet only here. PM for more details.

No it’s a Crossbasket Castle Hotel 4 mins from my house. Lovely place!

Did not look really big enough for CHH and I was not sure if they had finished the rebuilding.

Not familiar with Crossbasket but the website looks really nice.

Lovely colour combination. If this is still around in approx 3 months time I'll be seriously interested. If all works out as expected, should be in position to get back into the brand in July.
Any history of variators work or is it outside of affected range?

Edit: and its fairly local!

What is it about that light and piped Leather and Metallic Blue that just makes me drool.
That just oozes class and with you having remedied all those issues (sub frame too) that ought to fly out the door.
GLWS.
What's next on your exotic list?

Lovely car and sounds well sorted which is not always the case these days. Good luck with the sale.

There’s nothing in the history re variators although there’s receipts missing from Benfield Maserati for major work. Sadly they have closed down but when I called Maranello they can confirm on their system that the car had major work in 2014 at Benfield but they can’t see any details. Also the engine is super quiet when starting from cold and there is no rattle at all. Maybe there’s a way to tell??

As the others have said what a Stunning QP you have and so well uptogether loving your pictures too.
The right buyer is hopefully out there.
When I bought my 98 456 GTA it was like yours and totally uptogether.
It had only done just over 20,000 miles and had some serious invoices and I had mine back in 2012.
It goes with the car though as new back then they were well over £150,000.

456 or 612 if I can afford one. Prices definitely falling.

I too lusted after both of these cars for a long time and then I drove them. Make sure you do so before committing. I personally think the GTS (QP or GranTurismo) is a much better car to drive. I also looked at a service bills on well cared for cars. Eye watering.
