When I bought my QP (21 months ago), my view was to keep it a year or so and move on to a DB9...
here we are, lots later and I have no intention of doing that...very happy to stick with the maserati...:shy1:

The V8 does sound great, just watched the review of the V12 Vantage on Top Gear, i do like that apart from the silly carbon vents in the bonnet.

That orange Aston is an acquired taste and i dont like it.

But you don't like then any way Ada...nomatter what colour...You are right you need to be brave to have it.....I would....Suprised to see a few agree. Thought no one would have liked it.

Went in my mate's 'new' DB9 at the weekend. I'd only ever seen them from afar before and was excited at the prospect of seeing one close up. What a massive disappointment! The cabin was cramped (absolutely NO rear leg room and the seats are a joke); I thought the finish was terrible - minimal leather and the wooden trim parts looked like cheap plastic. The boot was pathetic for such a big car - it's really not a 2+2 like the Maserati coupe. It went alright and sounded lovely, a very mechanical sound from the engine. For such a big car it felt tiny inside.
I definitely wouldn't have one now. I haven't looked at the Vantage, but if it's anything like the DB9 then I'll stick with the Italians thanks.

intetesting, always wanted a DB9

Likewise, it was always one of those 'maybe' cars. A nice looking car in the flesh (although the alloys on this one looked too small for the car), but not a patch on the older design of the Maserati. It just doesn't have the finesse and style and looks a bit bloated to me. Thoroughly disappointing and something I would ever have spent £100k on new!

They are not that roomy..you are right MAF.....The rear seats are really for you bags than people.......or children. For me...being small....the interior was fine. Chris has one on his forecourt at the moment. Wouldn't have one over a Maserati QP...
