Seeing the same thing. So many are black on black!
I'd go for white, preferably with carbon, or Grigio palladio, but I don't think there are any

White is the way to go...The black looks nice but the white shows the lines much better......

Just can't do white cars although I agree many look very nice these days. It would get obliterated in 2 mins before I got the end of my lane. Also doesn't suit my preferred understated stance in life.
The lack of colour in the Maserati pallet is the reason I am still in my GS and not a GT (Although that is 2x black).
Looking at Autotrader you may as well view in monochrome.

the bit where ones bum goes is alcantara on a 2 seater strad, argument eliminated they never get that hot to be honest, and we have 5 months >30C here.For about 30 seconds. And with the black leather they are roasting in the summer. I mean * would*. I'd just rather not.

I think that is the point Jon
As strange as it seems, it is often why cars become classics. At this stage in the car's life few are looking to buy because they want or need 4 seats or need the car for any practical reason. They are buying it because it is bonkers.
By your logic you still need an MC-V which is of course another excellent choice
