Two mates and I want are planning a 2day road trip for March / April from London (where we all live) to Wales.
The idea is to avoid motorways as much as possible and take scenic routes all long. We know there are a lot of stunning B and C roads in Wales, and as typical Londoners, we are not familiar with that part of the country, but are all quite keen to go on a discovery journey of this beautiful part of the world.
We are happy to do 5-6hours of driving each day (including the odd stop here and there for coffee, snacks and enjoying the scenery), and would need a nice hotel and restaurant for the over night stay.
The drive back would be through a different route.
Any recommendations you may have from past experience to help us plan this journey would be very welcome.
