Folks

Farbeit for me to contradict anyone with an opposing view, after all this is a free and democratic country in which you can say what you like without fear of persecution, prosecution, or electrocution. However, may I remind you that the purpose of this thread was to settle the dispute once and for all, with post #1 being the final arbiter on the subject.

Furthermore, you may have seen reports in the press this week about the sale of Mrs Thatcher's handbag, and I would most earnestly counsel the 4200 supporters to leave the field before they find out who bought it.

Oh come now now Benny, there's nothing wrong with a little finesse, you just need a a degree of sensitivity to appreciate it. The trouble with you hairy-ar5ed 4200 types is that you extol the virtues of the pup with no regard for its pedigree.

Still, we can't all be perfect so I'll forgive you just this once and save you the handbagging you deserve, but don't make a habit of it.

PH

PS: I do hear that the aforementioned handbag is having red piping attached. I'm sure it's pure coincidence that it will match an AC''s interior.

Phil, the 3200 is part of our noble steeds pedigree, so should we regard that!? :mock8

We have said this before & ill say it again:

The best car maserati will have done ever would have been a GS with the boomerang & vents.....you have the best reliability & looks.....

Why maserati never kept the looks for the 4200 & GS ill never know, the fools, but that says it all, as 99% of people i bet would have picked the lights & vents on the GS if it was an options list.....

Both cars are beautiful, its a maserati for ***** sake, but they should have carried on the looks with a few tweeks like the GS bodykit etc....

Will say Frank when I had my 3200 and test drove a 43200 I did prefer it........Just seemed a better resolved car...You could tell Ferrari had put more money into it.

The options/style you stated Dem...were never options....fantasy land........each to their own, pity though there were substantive design/electrical failing with the 3200 which very much coloured the 3200 ownership experience and dare I say gave rise to the swift and steep depreciation the 3200 and 4200 have had, now the GT and QPs are well sorted/more desirable...they hold thier values much better.
