Somewhat annoyingly, having just about got everything in place: 3200 wheels; Michelin PA4 tyres; Wheel bolts
The weather in Scotland has turned tropical. That is, it is above 10c. the typical reaction up here is for men to go topless or 'Tapps Aff' is one says in the local vernacular. So it looks like the tyres and wheels will need to be stored until next winter.
The front and rear wheels for the 3200 multispoke design use totally different designs to the 4200. So if changing you need a set of each. About £138 x 2 plus shipping from Hill Engineering. The centre badges on those 3200 wheels are also slightly different.
Had I known all this at the time I would have just bought a set of 4200 identical wheels.
Well at least I am prepared for next winter. I did try the car on quite new Pilot sport 4's rears in the snow and ice. It had very little traction at the back and did nice controlled slides!
