Hello,
I've been able to read and clear DTCs on my 1999 3200GT (pre-OBDII), and I've got the codes that I write below. I suppose that some of them really are due to the fact that my mechanic has done some repairs and has not read nor clear error codes, but however I will see if they appear again. The codes are:
P0353 - generic DTC, Ignition coil C primary/secondary circuit fault
P0356 - generic DTC, Ignition coil F primary/secondary circuit fault
P0357 - generic DTC, Ignition coil G primary/secondary circuit fault
P0358 - generic DTC, Ignition coil H primary/secondary circuit fault
P1226 - manufacturer specific DTC (accelerator pedal travel sensor? this is my google finding but not sure...)
P0500 - generic DTC, vehicle speed sensor 'A'
P0700 - generic DTC, Transmission Control System, MIL Request
P1665 - manufacturer specific DTC (brake pedal switch error? this is my google finding but not sure...)
I will see if one of these codes comes back again, and hope to locate the 'erratic' CEL light that I've from time to time. Also, anybody of you could confirm if that is the correct meaning of the two manufacturer specific codes?
Best regards,
Javier
