I'm going to guess that any future legislation would apply to future cars, i.e. cars that exist now would be exempt. tbh, what's the point of modding an electric car anyway, You may as well mod your fridge-freezer. I suppose you could claim it was hacked. Invoke the 'Shaggy defence'. Wasn't me.

Do not google modding espresso machines if you want to escape with what is left of your sanity.

Have you seen what Musk and crew can control on a Telstar? Apparently they wipe the sports enhancements and self drive when you sell it so that they can re-sell those upgrades to the new owner! That is just the tip of the iceberg, especially when it comes to modding, or even trying to buy used spares! I sort of follow a chap in the states that has rebuilt a few Cat cars and has had serious issues like them disabling fast charge capabilities - not just the Tesla super-charge capabilities but on networks they don't own!

Not remotely a surprise. And another excellent reason to hold tight to the cars we rave about on here.

Boris is chasing the grey vote again, because according to People's Friend. The grey vote is bigger than the rest, by proportion. I imagine too, that this plays just as well in the Red Wall, as it does in Ascot.
People who drive these.
