But you lowered it to GS Spec so no longer original. Reversable And im sure it was an improvement. Much like the later gearbox software.
We all know that anything before the GranSport is inferior, whatever made-up name you want to give an outdated 4200. At least the 4200s were made in the 21st Century, unlike the 3200!
Not as nice as the original Classico....the 3200GT
Dave
i love my 4200 classico and its night and day a better drive over the 3200 but i do fear for them value wise...
the 3200 will be ok, iconic lights and the last true maserati engine... an odd ball classic.
the GS, top of the range... range toppers nearly always retain more value.
the 4200??? neither, and with lots more made.
and on the subject of software how do you check for original version?
Visual there is a sticker on it , but the most easiest way is the double blip on down change in sport mode , best way to check is change down in auto and than try changing down in sport there should be a noticeable difference in exhaust sound (Eg a double blip )
+1 here with a Classico and original software. Love that blip on downshifts.
