Did you detach the gearbox from the subframe or did you move it on the subframe bolts? Need the mufflers to come off to have enough space to move the gearbox backwards or could they stay in place?
Thanks for answer
Having done a few now a ramp is the number one thing you need. It could be done on the floor but you have to angle the engine down to get the bell housing on then the torque tube is a 3 man (one supporting the front, one supporting the rear and one to guide it on the splines) job on a ramp so good luck with that!Craig Waterman used to do them on the floor on his own.

Personally I wouldn’t go through the pain when the labour at Sportsitalia is only £750 and a small part of the complete job...it’s all parts.
What about detaching the axles? Necessary?

Hello, I just acquired a 4200 , the PIS value is currently set to 4.95. Should I change it to 4.65 ?or is that for new clutches only. my clutch wear index is approx 3600. clutch is worn at ~70 %. ThanksFYI we always set new PIS at 4.65, it’s a good aggressive starting point and rarely have to adjust it.
