My wife's spyder was out today and after she stopped, when she got back in the indicators, heating fans, wipers would not work.

After 10 minutes and 3 restarts all burst into life!

Does anyone have any ideas as to where I should look?

The ignition key can stick. When you turn the key to start the engine. It springs back but sometimes not all the way to the correct position.

Its happened twice to me and the indicators not working were the give away it had happened. You can leave the car running but gentley turn the key as though you were turning it off. You should feel it click back into the correct position and everything should work as normal.

I assume its the spring sticking or getting a little tired that causes it.

Happened to me, I stopped and turned off for a minute and all was well thereafter.

This has happened to me a few times now , it's starting to get annoying , is it a diy fix or a trip to the garage , I need the airbag light switching off in any case

I think you can just lubricate the mechanism Darren. It only happens every now and again with mine so its not a major problem to me. Voicey or phil in nz can probably confirm but i think you can just remove the steering column surround and clean and lubricate in situ.

No need to switch off, just gently turn the key back to the position it should have sprung back to.
