Not just you - I've had a good look around and thought the same - prices seem very similar, if not a bit higher, than last year when I bought my 4200 from ADG. As a result I am quite hopeful of getting close to £17k for it now.

Most seem to be on there an age and just get re-listed every 28 days...I only ever checked the new ones, some have been on there for 4-6 months...in fact there are a couple of coupes that have been listed for over a year and I know of one 3 years+

I think you are right too, prices are on the up.
I saw the man who I bought my Coupe off and he expressed the same opinion and he is in the business of selling classics and supercars. He still wishes he held on to mine and he would have made a few more £k's.
In fact, I nearly convinced someone at a recent car meet, to buy mine for £4k more than what I bought for and believe me he was very tempted!!!

Brings the average mileage down. Still can't decide whether to put up with the hassle of selling mine privately.

Expect some fluctuations when they get to a certain age...partly related to the fact that maybe the rest of the automotive world is waking up to the VFM 4200s represent plus the fab performance topped off by their peerless history and design!

The most expensive ones at 22k are just shy of Gransport prices, i would say 4200 prices have climbed a little.

Obviously miles make a big difference and there are not many star ship miles on the ones for sale......

All nice cars have gone up a bit recently. It's partially seasonal but also due to the fact that new car sales are low and have been low for some time so supply of used stock is lower than it used to be.

Graypaul Birmingham are offering £5k off any physical new Maser for anyone who goes to their invitation only event next weekend - times are tough shifting new metal and punters are fighting over cheaper cars - residual percentages have risen which is good for all of us.

Just 5 K off.........coulda swore the discount was much bigger....:)

Noticed fewer 4200s around.....not noticed how the prices are going....asking price and getting price could well differ.

Might be (!) but it takes a lot for a dealer to put it in writing.

True...It's a balancing act for dealers between getting people through the door to sell 'physical' cars at an advertised discount, and selling 'physical' cars at a 'sucks through teeth, let me see if my manager will go for it' price.
