That car appeared on ebay a few days ago as a private sale. When I saw it the car had only been listed for a very short time. As I was doing the shall I shan't I bit it disapeared only to reappear as a trade sale in a totally different part of the country at more money. It was originally listed at about £8,500.

I'm sure thats the one I've seen around Romford a couple of times.

If it is, I'm sure Newton knows the owner.

Air Bag light as well.

I doubt much has been done by the new seller. £8500 was a potential steal... £20k not much so.

Yes I doubt they have touched it and just after a quick bit of profit. 10k as long as its inspected seems right for a cat car though but would want to know the history.

Rear bumper looks to be sitting wrong in the 3rd photo, and possibly in the 6th photo too - something looks off where the boot lid meets the bumper.

On the plus side actually looks pretty good in yellow with the grey wheels.

In the 8.5k ad he says the rear bumper needs replacing

As it's now being sold at a garage 11k could be a good buy as long as you get it on finance

Because if it breaks down and the dealer is difficult the finance company are jointly liable as they lent you the money to buy it.

If it's a genuine claim they'll just pay it then chase the dealer for the money

With the VAT his profit is 2k , not sure I'd take a chance a maserati won't want 2k spending on it in the first 3 months

You can't get finance on a Cat car. You can borrow money other ways and pay for the car but you won't have protection. There is an argument that paying by credit car would offer some protection but it's hard to claim and shouldn't be relied on. A good inspection for £200 or so would be wise and if it just needs some cosmetics and TLC, it could well be a decent buy at 10k. Horrible colour though, but that's a personal comment.

The colour is the best thing about it! However, it's had a rear shunt that's been badly repaired. The bottom of the boot lid isn't straight, and the rear bumper is as bent as Tony Blair. It could be redone but with an 11k starting price it down to the purchaser to see if it's worth it.

The bumper is ahown as damaged in the original ebay advert so that MAY be why the rear looks out of alignment.

Yes above correct you can get a personal loan but that car finance as they will not touch it. Now this as tried on a 911 Turbo many years ago.
