This has been for sale for a while but the asking price has dropped, always loved these, not everyone's cup of tea I'm sure but what a lovely old thing it is - anyone eve driven one...?

Quite brash looking in red and there's overspray visible here and there, but I bet it sounds lovely.

Was discussed on another thread the other day. I’ve looked at it a few times but much as I’d love it, it’s a potential money pit. Needs a repaint back to silver as it looks poor in red in my opinion.

Thanks Dicky, I missed the other thread ;)

It would certainly look much nicer in its original colour, or something similar, but that interior is an absolute delight. The only QP I'm not very keen on looks wise is the 6!

The VI looks too big to me and nowhere near as pretty as the V. Love the low volume Bertone and Frua IIs of the early '70s, the Giugiaro III is weirdly attractive in a very European way (particularly with the Kyalami style alloys) and the IV is one of Gandini's overlooked gems.

Would love a QPI in silver or metallic grey wit ha red leather interior ;)

Can’t get to grips with the styling in the QP I (or II). But love the III and IV.
Bit bored of V (having had 5 of them).
And even a decade in, I’m still undecided on the VI - but will probably get a late example at some point, just to try.

I warmed up to the 6 after the mid-life styling revisions, and the Trofeo updates.
It's bloody long though, and not as nice sounding as the V (but that's expected with the turbos). I'd have one, in fact my wife's rather enamoured with the white one at Junction17.
White isn't my choice, I might add...

Agree the revisions make the VI much better and they are better in the flesh IMO also. I did look at the Junction 17 one you mentioned as they're not that far from me before buying my QPV but it would have to be a Trofeo which is way too expensive atm. Oddly not too bad in white but wouldn't be my first choice either...
