ABS Pump Code 1266

Hey everyone,

I was tightening the ground strap on my 2005 Coupe and the ABS and Stability control lights are now on and return after clearing. My Launch tool is showing a code C1266 ABS Pump DTC. My searches are returning a bad ABS module. Can someone tell me where the module is located? I going to inspect it for broken solder joints and try cleaning the terminals. Any advice would be appreciated!

Was the battery disconnected when you fiddled
with the strap? It might have got a spike.

It will be a single block, follow the brake pipes from the master cylinder and you’ll find it. Check the fuses first of course.

I was tightening the ground strap but it wasnt running. Not sure if it's related. thanks for the tip, Ill seee if I can locate it. Are the units rebuildable by a shop?
