Accountants

Ok, Ms. CB is looking for an accountant to help her setup and do the books for a small business. She doesn't like mine as she's looking for a more personal, hands-on approach - maybe a one-man-band rather than a large company. Any recommendations or thoughts as to where to look?

I'm sure you'll be spoilt for choice ... but Taxassist.in Reading.. (a franchise) I think do mine... Richard Berry and Steve Griffet the individuals concerned...fixed price paid monthly - no surprises ... happy enough to deal with the piles of unsorted receipts I throw at them - and clever enough to sort out some quite complex vat issues and commercial property transactions... I've been pretty happy with them..
