Yes great evening shame Gavin's F250 Lusso boiled its fuel in the traffic, maybe next time.

Hi guys, just got home. Sorry I had to 'bang out' without saying Bye but I had to go and rescue Gav. His 250 SWB got very hot in traffic and boiled the fuel in the carbs. After it spilled out all over the engine he got a tad concerned that he might end up watching a very expensive bonfire, so he turned for home after we got it started. He passes on his regards and apologies, and he will try and get there next time. That's the problem when you buy old and expensive Italian cars!

Just wanted to say it was great to see everyone again today and Deborah thoroughly enjoyed everyone's company and she didn't feel uncomfortable amongst any of you because of her treatment, thanks for your patience.

Remember those who have said they are up for London to Paris September 2017, I have a long memory to all those that have committed, eh Benny

A real shame about Gavin's 250 centigrade! We had been delayed in that very jam on the way round ourselves, no apparent reason for it other than just being the north Circular Maybe next time and a different route like the A1?

John, lovely to meet your good lady, Jeanette enjoyed it too, she is starting to recognise a few of the regulars now and is more relaxed. A shame I am not back into the marque yet but at least we were in an Italian with all the wheels bolted on!

The car even made it into the last of Ebenezer's photos, looking particularly grubby!
