Might be able to make it. Will I be allowed with an Alfa GT?

Not got a Maser yet, but have a Ghibli test drive booked for 16th. And am looking to get a 4200 at the end of the year.

Yes, not a prob, come and have a look, talk to the owners and you will learn loads.

It's Italian night and have taken my Alfa GT many times.

Excellent. I'll see what work is like, and might make it round to the Old Orchard.

Sorry guys but I'm having to call off on this one. My wife is going into hospital for an exploratory operation on Thursday and it goes without saying that I will have to be around.

**** teacher onstrike! Eldest is off now on Thursday thanks to the various unions so looks like it has Kaiboshed any plans to come to Ace/Pub. Might see if I can bring them for the pub bit!

Yep, both mine off too but managed to get cover.

And to think the LEA had the nerve to bill us £240 for taking one of our daughters out of school for holiday, this country is becoming a joke!

One of the schools billed us for taking one of our daughters out of school for a week to go on family holiday to Greece.

you take your kids out so you could go on cheaper hols........*******

Thats it in a nutshell. Who are the schools to tell us what we do with our children, its just another tax and another example of taking from the (relatively) rich and giving it to the waifs and strays this country has attracted.

That's terrible - I have heard its common practice, I would have told them they were off sick and the doctor was in holiday so no sick note.
Where is the refund for 'inset days' 'teacher training days' etc

You need a doctors note after 4 days, we could have made something up, but really, come on, I should not have to be lying to the schools.
