Saw it on Pistonheads last week then they took it off. I reckon they want about 60k for it, was reading in Octane the other month that in Japan there was a delivery mile E30 Sport Evo, sold for £75k. I would love one but is it really 25-30k better than a normal E30 M3 EVO2???

Not for me it isn't Adam...Prefer the jutting out front spoiler on the EVO11 as well.....But, if I was a collector and had one you wouold have to have the Sport Evo as its the one that will hold its value and even go up...Its the one that got the most acclaim.....

I don't know how easy this car would be to sell. The mileage is low, but not so low that it's a museum piece (unlike the delivery mileage 2 Sport Evo's I posted about a while back that the guy who owns the Bonkers collection bought!), but any increase in mileage will start to decrease the value of the car. I'm not a fan of cars which are bought to be stored away; feels like sacrilege to me when they're not used for the purpose they were built.

Munich Legends also have a very marmite reputation in E30 circles. I've heard some absolute horror stories about some of the cars they have sold.

They used to be THE place to go for anything BMW. I've seen evidence of some of the cars they have sold being 'not as described'. They are all well over top money as well. I don't know if they negotiate but even the more run of the mill stuff is often over the top end of any market value. Certainly wouldn't be my first place of call when looking.

Funny you mention that Maf, was reading on Pistonheads the other day about Munich Legends and people were saying they were not as good as they used to be. A guy who worked at ML set up Classic Heroes who also specialise in BMW. 4 Star Classics IMO sell the best 90's classics, they tend to have a few E30's for sale.

I thought ML were the best BMW specialist, they were for a while but because their best staff member left, soon went a little down hill. DK Engineering is the same, they lost their best/most experienced technician, they have been advertising the vacancy for over 12 months now as the requirements for the job are "must be experienced with 1960's-1980's Ferrari's".

Love the cars andy.....
My favourite car of all time for under 30k....

Mark your right, legends had an excellent reputation and were tue kings in all that was bmw and mercs like cosworth 190 etc but have slipped and a few people have been taking them to court over things not being as described and promises not seen through so its a mix bag that place now......

You could also have, Black/Green, Black/Yellow and Black/Grey.

I could see myself buying a Z3M Roadster or Coupe, always loved them since they were launched.
