Even just a standard one will blow you away - and quite a lot of the competition on track too.
I'd suggest by the time you can afford to buy and insure one Adam there will probably only be "looked after" cars about. And you'd need to have one that has been maintained properly otherwise you could easily spend the value of the car on it just getting up together.
They are pretty much infinitely customisable too, meaning that no two are the same. It's also easy to get carried away with mods.... Mine went in for a service and tyres on Monday, it's still there having the rest the "well whilst you've got it, you may as well do..." done.
If you are able to pop down to Llandow, I'll take you out on track in it.
