How do you do it? Tried searching but couldn't turn anything up. Going south at the end of August and want to be able to drive at night should I wish.

I've always wondered how to on my 3200GT...I don't bother anymore, after all It's good to upset as many French drivers as possible

The projector style head lights both xenon and halogen use a much flatter beam than the old style headlights. As such you get much less 'kick' on the beam. However to avoid any run in with the law, just run some tape between the two etch lines on the headlight to the center point of the light to the edge flowing to the wings of the car.

That way you stop any Police stop issues

If you need reassurance drive into an industrial estate at night and find a large blank wall to point at you will see the pattern as flat or actually slightly biased for the continent already! no need to convert but you can stick tape if you really want it messing your motor up... Personally all I do is have a roll of tape with me to offer LeFlick if ever I was pulled out there, let them see if they could make any improvement!

Mine are set slightly low, you can get to them through the wheel arch. I just leave them.

My take it 'don't bother too'. The beam is flat and I drove at night quite a lot last year on the continent and didn't seem to upset anyone.
