Alfa GTV

Friend had just bought an stunning 2000 Alfa GTV V6, blue with tan leather....He just came around and we went for a spin. Forgot how good these old GTV's are. OK front drive and not up to 'modern' standards but the engine noise is wounderful and the handling was better than I remember. Pretty fast to.......This was the last great Alfa engine as far as I'm concerned and a very pretty car...The best looking car they have made in the last 20 years...I'm ignoring the 8C.......God it's made me think of getting one of the last GTV Cups and spending some cash at Auto Delta.......

One of my favourite cars of all time. Had a 2L TS and then the 3.2V6, which was an awesome bit of kit and much faster than the 3L, dont know how, but it was vicious!

I would have one like a shot.

I have also converted a mate of mine that was looking at Audis, and have now converted him to buying a 3.2 GT, another very, very nice car.

My brother still has a phase 3 2L JTS its amazing how small it feels inside, it really should have been a 2 seater.

well i saw alfa gtv headline on the thread and im here... i love the car, i owned a 2.0ts then 3.0 v6 i still say it was the best car ive ever owned, i want one again one day, just hard finding good ones

As before Dem..had a 2.0 twin spark and then a V6...Just beautiful....God they are so cheap as well.

Me too! Had a 2.0 and replaced it with a 3.0 V6. Great cars......

Lovely car ngw...Look at that engine...who makes and engine like that now with polished ports....stunning. I want one again. This car will surely be a classic if only for the looks and V6.

group 19 is it? well anyway i remember going to mansfield to see the mrs in the early days and taking this car up there just to get off motorway then go onto country roads for a drive, i love the maser but not the same, v6 sounded better

Yes V6 and cup was a 3L then with the face lift it went to 3.2....Auto Delta bore out to 3.5 and 300bhp...Yum
